net-fs/samba-3.0.26a-r2.ebuild lost "oav" flag (virus scan).

Created attachment 136488 [details, diff] Sorry, fix: samba-3.0.26a-r2.ebuild returning "oav" flag
The oav USE-flag has been dropped on purpose together with the oav-patch. Reasons: a) unmaintained since March 2005 b) Compilation broken (for version 3.0.26 and surely for 3.0.27) c) Even if it compiles, it is broken due to API changes in the Samba-Code d) The patch itself is broken by design since it relies on API's being stable which are not marked as such.

Latest patch is http://www.openantivirus.org/download/ 15-Sep-2007 07:49 samba-vscan-0.3.6c-beta5.tar.gz Could this flag be returned?
hmm, that's interesting. Last time I looked at it (a couple of months ago) that thing was dead meat. Thanks for the info! 0.3.6c_beta5 at least compiles here (compared to the "release" version 0.3.6b). I'll give it a shot as soon as I have time (may take a couple of weeks), unless I get some help. (The old ebuilds can be found in viewcvs.gentoo.org).
