I tried upgrading reiserfsprogs; the is rarely (if ever) mirrored on other
sites, so you have to go to Namesys for it.

Their FTP server will connect, but will not present the login prompt; it is
common  practice to "nice" ftp servers all the way down (as this is the only way
to throttle the FTP protocol).

HTTP is a "connectionless" protocol and seems to work well for retrieving the
reiserfsprogs source from Namesys.

Actual Results:  

This morning, ten attempts to retreive the source via FTP timed out, while the
HTTP download was immediate, > 100KB/s.
