x11-misc/xfe throws error during compilation (& of course fails). Tried both the latest one (version 1.04 in ~x86) and the stable one (1.00) and it gave the same error. Log file attached. Reproducible: Always

"emerge -pv fox" output please, I suspect it needs USE truetype enabled
(In reply to comment #4) > "emerge -pv fox" output please, I suspect it needs USE truetype enabled > Yes, I haven't compiled fox with truetype use flag. Compiled it with it solved the problem. However, then another problem came up: no images were displayed at the program. Compiling fox with the png flag fixed that problem. So, may xfe 's ebuild be updated to require the truetype and png use flags for fox?

I guess you have understood it but I felt the need to clarify it: When I told that "no images were displayed at the program." I meant its own images, its icons.
(In reply to comment #11) > I guess you have understood it but I felt the need to clarify it: When I told > that "no images were displayed at the program." I meant its own images, its > icons. > sure, but if use sets USE="-png" or fails to use a profile where it's enabled it's entirely his choice or fault if no icons are displayed. so for this reason, i've left it only as a warning with pause and the building still continues.
