Genkernel SVN had moved along a little bit since the patch I developed against
3.4.9_pre3 to improve the capability to default command line options in the
config file (see bug #182616).  The attached patch brings the --mdadm command
line option into the new framework.

This is fixed in 3.4.9_pre9, which was just added to the tree.
