Description:   Opened: 2003-04-23 04:07 0000
When I try to emerge Abiword 1.9.0 it drops out of configuring with:

checking whether byte ordering is bigendian... no
checking for xml2-config... /usr/bin/xml2-config
checking for wv-libconfig... /usr/bin/wv-libconfig
checking for wvInitParser in -lwv... yes
checking wv.h usability... no
checking wv.h presence... no
checking for wv.h... no
configure: error: * * * Sorry, unable to find wv.h * * *

!!! ERROR: app-office/abiword-1.9.0 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 273, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed

Seems like the old configure-problem, so I readded and updated fosers patch for
1.1.4, I will also attach an updated ebuild which solves the problem for me.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

# qpkg -v wv

The updated ebuild and the corresponding patch in a tarball

------- Comment #2 From foser (RETIRED) 2003-04-23 11:12:27 0000 -------
ah weird.. i had disabled the patch because it worked for me without it.

I can't really figure out, why it does work for me (?)

I'll just re-enable the patch.

re-enabling that 1.1.4 wv fooling patch isnt doing it... the build compiles
using sukas tarball but not whats in portage.

------- Comment #4 From foser (RETIRED) 2003-05-02 07:17:12 0000 -------
well thats weird, cause it doesn't do anything different.

anyway, this is p.mask-ed stuff i can't guarantee it to work.
