Description ralf 2002-01-16 05:01:11 UTC
The md5 digests for the ebuild of the application program 'cdrecord' are missing.
Comment 1 Mikael Hallendal (hallski) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-01-16 14:03:12 UTC
this is soo strange. app-cdr/cdrecord is removed from CVS, still people using
rsync get this.

you should use app-cdr/cdrtools which contains cdrecord.

OK, *when* do you get this error? Emerge? What were you trying to do?
Comment 3 ralf 2002-01-16 17:12:12 UTC
Ok, I see that cdrecord is included in the cdrtools package. I should have done
an 'emerge --clean rsync' instead of simply 'emerge rsync' when updating my
portage tree. Sorry about the confusion, I'm new to Gentoo. Thanks for your
quick help! You're doing a great job, guys.
