The ebuild for audacious-plugins is missing a 'dbus' flag. The configure script for audacious-plugins checks for --enable-debug, which is enabled by default. This means that any system that does not have dbus installed will fail to build. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Try to install the audacious-plugins package when dbus is not installed. 2. 3. Actual Results: audacious-plugins fails to install. Expected Results: there should be a 'dbus' use flag. if this is not enabled, audacious-plugins should be built without dbus support.
Created attachment 135025 [details] Modified ebuild which adds dbus use flag Attached ebuild adds a dbus use flag. This allows audacious-plugins to be compiled on systems that do not have dbus-glib installed.
D-Bus dependency now mandatory, so that remote control always works. Note that you should not be filing bugs for masked packages...
