Please try the attached ebuild from comment 1. I used the ebuild licq-1.3.4-r1.ebuild and removed the 1.3.0-suse_bool.patch It compiles fine here (AMD64) and works like a charm.
You can keep the 1.3.0-suse_bool.patch. It still applies to licq-1.3.5.
