Description:   Opened: 2007-10-26 12:47 0000
As per summary, time has passed since PulseAudio 0.9.6 is in tree, and -r1
updates the information of the ebuild to point to the new realtime guide (which
is even more reality now that PAM 0.99 is going stable), and it's then time to
mark 0.9.6-r1 stable if possible.

Please test and mark as you can.

Thanks,
Diego

Do you want dev-libs/libatomic_ops-1.2 or -r1 stabilized as well?

------- Comment #2 From Diego E. 'Flameeyes' Pettenò 2007-10-27 21:15:33 0000 -------
Considering it's a dependency for the new version, I intended that to be
implicit. Stable the last one if the time is good for your arch, as usual.

------- Comment #3 From Jurek Bartuszek 2007-10-27 21:38:48 0000 -------
x86 stable

------- Comment #4 From Markus Rothe 2007-10-28 15:06:21 0000 -------
I just ran into bug #181234 again on ppc64. We'll need to fix that first.

------- Comment #5 From Jeroen Roovers 2007-10-30 07:22:45 0000 -------
Stable for HPPA.

------- Comment #6 From Raúl Porcel 2007-11-10 17:37:27 0000 -------
alpha/ia64/sparc stable, thanks Tobias and Alex

------- Comment #7 From nixnut 2007-11-17 12:52:25 0000 -------
ppc stable

------- Comment #8 From Diego E. 'Flameeyes' Pettenò 2007-11-23 11:24:48 0000 -------
Re-adding arches, now please mark 0.9.7 stable as 0.9.8 was released...

------- Comment #9 From Angelo Arrifano 2007-11-23 14:17:16 0000 -------
dev-libs/libatomic_ops-1.2-r1
media-sound/pulseaudio-0.9.7 USE="X alsa dbus hal tcpd -avahi -caps -gnome
-jack -libsamplerate -lirc -oss"

* Both emerges on AMD64
* I was able to successfully play a remote sound on this machine using
native-tcp module.

Also:
I had to disable module-x11-publish to start the daemon. Loading that module
gives me:
Nov 23 13:15:32 [pulseaudio] x11wrap.c: XOpenDisplay() failed
Nov 23 13:15:32 [pulseaudio] module.c: Failed to load module
"module-x11-publish" (argument: ""): initialization failed.

For who's wondering, yeah the X11 modules doesn't work well with systemwide
instance. It's now documented in metadata.xml for the X USE flag description.
