Description:   Opened: 2007-10-19 08:34 0000
kile-2.0_beta1 depends on tetex instead of virtual/latex-base of similar and in
a system using the modular texlive ebuild fail to compile

Reproducible: Always

------- Comment #1 From cruzki 2007-10-19 08:50:52 0000 -------
I should mentione too that kde-base/kdvi, media-gfx/asymptote,
sci-mathematics/koctave, kde-base/kopete and dev-tex/mpm also depend on
virtual/tetex and should depend on virual/latex-base

------- Comment #2 From Alexis Ballier 2007-10-19 09:19:22 0000 -------
what do you mean ? kile has deps on virtual/tetex, when latex-base is a subset
of virtual/tetex for texlive ebuilds

I fail to see how it can fail to compile, virtual/tetex might not be optimal
though and will pull in a lot more of texlive packages than latex-base

Note: app-text/texlive-2007 provides virtual/tetex
