Description Jan Kohnert 2007-10-11 00:46:31 UTC
When using dhcpcd to set the network and using it ability to set ntp.conf directly, one gets the following entry in the /etc/ntp.conf file:

driftfile /var/lib/ntp/ntp.drift/etc/ntp.drift

This is obviously wrong, as it should be /var/lib/ntp/ntp.drift

It seems to be related to the fixed) bug #32490 but that one was for version 1.3.22_p4-r1, while here 3.1.5 is used.

This bug happens for x86 as well as AMD64.

If there is any configuration option to set the location, please comment here and close this bug, but I was not able to find anything useful.

(Anyway: ntpd is running, though...)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start system with dhcp network and ntp autoconfig

Actual Results:
no driftfile available

Expected Results:
driftfile should be available
