Crash Warning
Versions 1.2.20 and earlier have a number of potential crash-bugs due to
out-of-bounds reads in certain chunk-handlers. These bugs are fixed in version
1.2.21, released 4 October 2007, but another crash bug (related to the
ICC-profile chunk) remains to be fixed in version 1.2.22
