Version 2.2.2 has been released for ORTS Reproducible: Always
I added otrs-2.2.2 to the tree now and removed the older, insecure ebuilds. I currently did not remove the mask since I'd like some feedback whether the ebuild really installs fine. The post install instructions are somewhat more complex but I had no problem installing it. If I could get one confirmation of this I'd remove the mask.
Received an error when trying to emerge it. apache2.patch is failing. Attached it the output of it. Filename is apache2.patch-993.out.
Created attachment 130747 [details] Output of failed attempt to apply apache2.patch

Thanks for the feedback. Patch updated in CVS. Please test again and let me know if it works!
(In reply to comment #5) > Thanks for the feedback. Patch updated in CVS. Please test again and let me > know if it works! the patch seems to work (the package gets installed). But the ebuild seems to have a bug in line 112: [...] >>> /usr/share/webapps/otrs/2.2.2/hostroot/otrs-2.2.2/RELEASE >>> /usr/share/webapps/otrs/2.2.2/hostroot/cgi-bin/ >>> /usr/share/webapps/otrs/2.2.2/postinst-en.txt * webapp-config will not be run automatically * That messes up Apache configs * Don't run webapp-config with -d otrs. Instead, try * webapp-config -I -h <host> -d ot otrs 2.2.2 * /usr/portage/www-apps/otrs/otrs-2.2.2.ebuild: line 112: !use: command not found >>> www-apps/otrs-2.2.2 merged. >>> No packages selected for removal by clean >>> Auto-cleaning packages... >>> No outdated packages were found on your system. * Regenerating GNU info directory index... * Processed 5 info files.

@Thomas: Thanks for the note. Fixed it in the ebuild. Other than that the app works fine for you?
(In reply to comment #8) > @Thomas: Thanks for the note. Fixed it in the ebuild. Other than that the app > works fine for you? Actually i just emerged the app but didn't installed and configured it yet. The emerging were smooth now, but for the installation & configuration i need more time (maybe even weeks). Thank You very much!
2.2.2 and 2.2.3 have both been in the tree for a while and nobody filed complaints anymore, so I'm going to unmask these now. Resolving this bug but feel free to reopen if there are problems.
