Due to a bug in the latest curl version in portage (7.16.4) curlftpfs segfaults when one tries to rename a file. See bug URL for detailed information.

This bug is already solved in curl cvs.
Please create an ebuild for net-misc/curl-7.17.0_pre20070828 or at least a patch  for

curl-7.17.0_pre20070828 added. please let me know if it  works for you. I didn't actually test it that much.

Tested & found working on x86 and x86_64 (with curlftpfs 0.9.1).
