kopete-3.5.7.ebuild blocks every kdenetwork via RDEPEND="!kde-base/kdenetwork" in the ebuild, but as far as I know it should only block kde-base/kdenetwork-3.5* (currently it blocks both, the correct one is managed by the eclass) This prevents me from installing kde4-svn from kde overlay, but I think it should be fixed, even if there is no kde version with a slot other than 3.5 in the official tree Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Yes, but this has nothing to do with the issue that the monolithic/split kde blocks are managed by the eclass and not by the individual ebuilds. All files that are installed by kopete-3.5* are located in /usr/kde/3.5 There is no reason for it blocking anything else than kdenetwork-3.5*
