One of our users reported issues with libvisual-plugins ebuild.

gstreamer? ( >=media-libs/gstreamer-0.8 )
             ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
it's wrong.
It would be:
gstreamer? ( =media-libs/gstreamer-0.8*)

Since this package only works with gstreamer-0.8
