It would be nice to have the current development version (currently 3.3.17) of
gnugo in portage 
(unstable branch) for those who are interested.  They tend to be reasonably
stable, and are much 
stronger.

The development versions are on a different server:

Added to CVS.  Note that I've marked it unstable and I have no plans to
move it to x86 and ppc until a new stable version is released.  The
HOMEPAGE and SRC_URI were changed to reflect the development status as well.
Version is 3.3.22.
