Description:   Opened: 2007-08-06 08:54 0000
puppetmasterd refuses to start claiming:

No such file or directory - /var/lib/puppet/ssl/ca/private/ca.pass

Once I created the /var/lib/puppet/ssl directory, it went further. However at
this stage, I found the permissions on /var/run/puppet were wrong.

They were: drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Aug 6 09:53 puppet
They should be: drwxr-xr-x 2 puppet root 4096 Aug 6 09:53 puppet

Following this, puppet started fine

Reproducible: Always
