The current stable is way older than it should be. It would be nicer to cut down on the deps but if we keep on waiting and waiting we will never get this stable so here it goes. amd64 stable, thanks allot Ken for testing and dealing with all the keywords. Much appreciated. Last arch so closing bug. Just want to take a moment to thank all those involved in the 1yr+ effort that went into building Netbeans from source. Starting with Betelgeuse who first made an attempt at 4.x. Which I based initial 5.x efforts on, and as it got into better shape we turned to unbundling deps. Along the way we got a dedicated maintainer fordfrog, who completed that proceess. Along with many other refinements, QA, etc. Getting it to the point where it's finally stable :) Fordfrog continues to work on Netbeans 5.5.1 and 6.0.x. After several years we finally have a some what current version of Netbeans in the tree. Not to mention one being built from source with basically no bundled deps. A tremendous task and accomplishment for the Gentoo Java Team :) Thanks again to arch testers and stabilizers for the final effort. Now I am off to punt that ancient 3.6 :)
