I don't see any problem in stabling rspec 1.0.5. There are no open bugs for it and it has been in the tree for over a month. I'm actively using it myself on amd64 and x86 without issues. amd64, x86, please stabilize rspec-1.0.5. ppc, since there are no stable versions at all yet I'm cc'ing you as well, feel free to determine whether rspec should have a stable version for your arch.
