Go ahead and add java to metadata.xml, but please make sure that accessibility knows what's going on with this package. As far as stabilizing it, there is another bug against this package that hasn't been fixed yet, that is bug #136600, can you take a look at that first?

Arch teams can verify this in their testing. Current stable doesn't install the wrapper so you have to use something like: betelgeuse@pena ~ $ java -cp $(java-config -p freetts) com.sun.speech.freetts.FreeTTS -voice alan -text "Test" System property "mbrola.base" is undefined.
