Description Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-08-03 00:55:33 UTC
ppc: please mark ~ppc
amd64/x86: please mark stable
Prerequisite: bug #186953

We have no known regressions with this kernel. Additionally it fixes a few bugs that we haven't been able to fix in previous releases:
bug #177952, bug #178821, bug #180684, bug #181757, bug #185491, bug #185983
Comment 1 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-08-08 11:13:28 UTC
Marked ~ppc. I'd like to go stable with this sooner rather than later, we've had vanilla sources-2.6.22 marked ~ppc since it was available. I'm not sure how I missed this one. :)

amd64 stable
Comment 3 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-08-12 13:56:42 UTC
beandog: I think this bug was about marking as ~amd64, was it? Just want to be sure there is nothing in stable that shouldn't be there...
Comment 4 Olivier Crete (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-08-12 15:01:08 UTC
This new kernel add a new version of the wireless extensions (22), should we stabilize a new version of the wireless tools ?

Markus, please read comment #0. :)

x86 stable and closing
Comment 7 Christian Schmitt 2007-09-21 13:53:15 UTC
I think this should be marked stable on ppc, too. I encountered no issues here.
