How about w/ C[XX]FLAGS="-march=prescott -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" ?
Comment 3 Kevin Fullerton 2007-07-19 21:12:16 UTC
Have just compiled this on x86 and amd64 with no problems, using both -O2 and -O3 - am just running on my x86 machine with -O3 -fomit-frame-pointer to see if that's where the problem lies
Comment 4 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-19 21:21:03 UTC
Works just fine w/ C[XX]FLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -fforce-addr" for me as well. Really retry with sane flags.
Comment 5 x.para 2007-07-23 08:34:17 UTC
Hi,

this was the problem:

-fvisibility=hidden -fvisibility-inlines-hidden

in CFLAGS. I removed this part and compilation went ok.
It was no even bug but matter of setting. Thank you for support.
Closing this case.
