Description:   Opened: 2007-07-19 01:25 0000
I believe that Areca RAID controllers have become common enough that it is
reasonable to include the arcmsr driver in the default kernel config/initrd
image as constructed by genkernel. The arcmsr driver represents the RAID
controller as a SCSI device so it should be added to the MODULES_SCSI in both
the x86 & x86_64 archs. Also, since most Areca controllers have more then 2TB
of storage attached the CONFIG_EFI_PARTITION option should be set in the kernel
to suport GPT parition tables.

Reproducible: Always

OK. This is fixed in SVN now and will show up in the next genkernel release...

Please test genkernel 3.4.9_prer1 or better. This should be fixed now.
