As a side note, don't use -mcpu:

> `-mcpu=' is deprecated. Use `-mtune=' or '-march=' instead.

------- Comment #2 From Massimo Burcheri 2007-07-13 09:19:56 0000 -------
Myself I have CFLAGS="-march=pentium4 -O3 -pipe -ftracer". To test with a more
stable make.conf I commented out CFLAGS,CXXFLAGS,LDFLAGS to comply with the
profile only.

------- Comment #3 From SpanKY 2007-07-15 23:49:05 0000 -------
fixed in linux-headers-2.6.22-r1

People still file bug w/ linux-headers-2.6.22-r2

------- Comment #7 From Jon Dye 2007-08-15 13:52:51 0000 -------
Still broken even with later linux-headers:

> jon@hal ~ $ sudo emerge kcdlabel
[...]
> In file included from /usr/include/linux/cdrom.h:14,
> from ./audiocd.h:33,
> from cddbaccessdialog.h:31,
> from cddbaccessdialogdata.cpp:10:
> /usr/include/asm/byteorder.h:24: error: `__u64' does not name a type
[...]
> jon@hal ~ $ equery belongs /usr/include/asm/byteorder.h
> [ Searching for file(s) /usr/include/asm/byteorder.h in *... ]
> sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.6.22-r2 (/usr/include/asm/byteorder.h)

------- Comment #8 From Michael C. Vergallen 2008-02-01 01:55:58 0000 -------
This is still the same with the linux-headers-2.6.23-r3 package.

------- Comment #9 From SpanKY 2008-02-01 02:48:34 0000 -------
fixed in linux-headers-2.6.24
