Description:   Opened: 2007-07-11 17:15 0000
I'm using
net-wireless/ndiswrapper-1.45
and
net-wireless/ndiswrapper-1.46

since they were available on portage.

They always worked perfect for me.
I'm currently using it to connect to WEP and WPA/PEAP (using wpa_supplicant)
networks.

HW:
00:0a.0 Ethernet controller: Linksys, A Division of Cisco Systems [AirConn]
INPROCOMM IPN 2220 Wireless LAN Adapter (rev 01)

Driver:
neti2220 (64bit) version 02/24/2005 3.07.02.2005

klog:

------- Comment #1 From Jakub Moc (RETIRED) 2007-07-11 18:22:50 0000 -------
So, what's the bug here? :)

------- Comment #2 From Angelo Arrifano 2007-07-11 18:32:58 0000 -------
Sorry.. :)

They are currently masked, since they are working very well here, this is
supposed to be a kind of stabilize request.

Isn't this a correct behavior?

------- Comment #3 From Marcelo Goes 2007-09-01 19:27:09 0000 -------
I believe =ndiswrapper-1.45 should be stabilized.

I just hit bug 179951 - =ndiswrapper-1.44 will not emerge with Linux kernel
2.6.22, so it is not too useful for most people as it is now.
=ndiswrapper-1.45 emerges fine.

Cheers,
Marcelo

------- Comment #4 From Piotr Jaroszyński 2007-09-02 01:44:40 0000 -------
I would prefer to have 1.47 stabled if anything as ndiswrapper is getting a
bunch of bug fixes every release.

------- Comment #5 From Christian Faulhammer 2007-09-04 19:59:59 0000 -------
x86 stable and closing
