Description:   Opened: 2007-07-09 04:46 0000
for the good boys, this shouldnt be an issue as they've already moved to stable
sanitized headers

these arches:
amd64
ppc
ppc64
x86
will need to review their situation and perhaps Bug 159304

i'll hold off with alpha until i can get binutils fixed

------- Comment #1 From Markus Rothe 2007-07-09 12:44:16 0000 -------
I've been using these for about a month now and there are no packages in bug
#159309 which have a stable ppc64 keyword => linux-headers-2.6.21 stable on
ppc64

------- Comment #2 From Raúl Porcel 2007-07-09 14:55:15 0000 -------
ia64 stable

------- Comment #3 From Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) 2007-07-13 00:53:03 0000 -------
amd64/x86 stable

gentoo-sources-2.6.21 are not stable in amd64

------- Comment #5 From SpanKY 2007-07-13 20:00:30 0000 -------
which is irrelevant ... you can have newer kernel headers than kernel

------- Comment #6 From Jeroen Roovers 2007-07-17 07:26:28 0000 -------
Stable for HPPA.

------- Comment #7 From toto 2007-07-20 05:26:14 0000 -------
hey, after upgrade linux-headers-2.6.17-r2 to 2.6.21 miss this file:
"/usr/include/asm/page.h" and when I try compile gentoo-sources-2.6.21-r4 I get
by genkernel:

  CC libbb/procps.o
/var/tmp/genkernel/12907.906.27384.15649/busybox-1.1.3+gentoo/libbb/procps.c:15:22:
error: asm/page.h: No such file or directory
  CC libbb/qmodule.o

------- Comment #8 From SpanKY 2007-07-20 05:48:05 0000 -------
that is a genkernel issue ... go file a bug for them (assuming one hasnt
already been filed)

------- Comment #9 From Joe Jezak 2007-07-22 15:34:59 0000 -------
Marked ppc stable.

------- Comment #10 From Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) 2007-07-25 20:39:07 0000 -------
sparc stable.

------- Comment #11 From Christopher Smith 2007-09-03 02:15:31 0000 -------
So, I'll gripe: asm/user.h is missing. This breaks user mode linux kernel
builds. I think it also impacts mono. Anyway, I'll report that as a separate
bug, but I thought I'd mention it here first.

------- Comment #12 From SpanKY 2007-09-03 02:24:19 0000 -------
asm/user.h isnt missing, it was punted

anything using it is broken and needs to be fixed

------- Comment #13 From Joshua Kinard 2007-09-03 18:16:12 0000 -------
mips stable.
