Description:   Opened: 2007-07-07 20:16 0000
I would like to ask for the stabilization of dev-ruby/rmagick-1.15.7. It has
been in the tree for almost a month and there are no open bugs for it.
Furthermore, it only has minor bug fixes compared to 1.15.5.

The main reason for asking for stabilization is that one of those bug fixes
sovles problems with imagemagick 6.3.4, which went stable a few weeks ago due
to a security bug.

> Failing for me on sparc...

This is bug 184356. Fixed by not including the hdri USE flag in imagemagick.
I've added dev-ruby/rmagick-1.15.7-r1 to the tree which checks for this using
built_with_use.

------- Comment #10 From Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) 2007-07-12 14:02:35 0000 -------
1.15.7-r1 sparc stable, feel free to call back those lazy ;-) arches back if
you want them to do -r1 to get things neat.

------- Comment #11 From Josh Nichols (RETIRED) 2007-07-14 06:09:10 0000 -------
Should we consider a premature stabilization of -r1 due to the mentioned bug?
If not, let's mark this resolved.

------- Comment #12 From Hans de Graaff 2007-07-14 06:15:44 0000 -------
Yes, rmagick-1.15.7-r1 should be marked stable shortly. I'll handle it this
weekend.

------- Comment #13 From Hans de Graaff 2007-07-14 08:24:56 0000 -------
Arches, apologies for dragging you back in to the wonderful world of rmagick so
quickly again, but as we found out while the stabilizing of 1.15.7 was underway
rmagick does not compile against an imagemagick compiled with USE=hdri.
rmagick-1.15.7-r1 contains a built_with_use check for this, and I would like to
ask you to stabilize this version. Apart from the check there are no changes,
which is why I'm asking you to stabilize this after only a few days.

------- Comment #14 From nixnut 2007-07-15 14:23:17 0000 -------
Stable on ppc.

------- Comment #15 From Christian Faulhammer 2007-07-16 07:22:37 0000 -------
x86 stable

------- Comment #16 From Markus Rothe 2007-07-16 19:01:33 0000 -------
ppc64 stable

last arch CC'd -> marking as FIXED
