Gergan, what do you think? Will you send the patches to debian or should i?

Thanks

Although xulrunner compiles, installs and works file, we need a an rpath patch similar to Linux but with the installed path instead of $ORIGIN as FreeBSD does not support $ORIGIN.

So any pointers on what variable to use in rules.mk for this would be nice :)

I think it is better if you send them, as an official gentoo-developer, the debian maintainer is Mike Hommey (glandium (at) debian.org).
As to the patches they seem fine to me.

I think $(mozappdir) should work there, it is defined in autoconf.mk, but I think rules.mk includes config.mk, which includes autoconf.mk.

This is for 063_firefox-rpath-3.patch

With these 3 patches, xulrunner compiles and installs fine. yelp and liferea work fine when built against xulrunner :)
Comment 7 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-04 13:31:20 UTC
Okay, i'll send them, what about the last patch, Gergan?
Comment 8 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-04 21:30:08 UTC
Fixed in xulrunner-1.8.1.4, patchset 0.2.
And firefox-2.0.0.4, patchset 0.2
