------- Comment #2 From Markus Dittrich 2007-10-26 13:19:37 0000 -------
How do we handle versioning for this package? I don't see any
changelog in the tarball so I am not quite sure what upstream
is up to.
Do we simply bump the package name to the current date and
re-digest?

Thanks,
Markus

------- Comment #3 From Jan Marten Simons 2007-10-26 17:04:53 0000 -------
That's the procedure mentioned in the ebuild.

Of course it would be better to bug upstream to do versioned releases (and
symlink the generic filename to the latest of those).

p.s.: Sorry for the duplicate, but bugzilla did not return any hit on platon on
my first search.

------- Comment #4 From Donnie Berkholz 2007-10-26 23:57:23 0000 -------
We should move this to the science overlay because it's impossible to maintain
effective QA in its present state. It was a mistake to add it to the tree
without getting upstream to version properly.

------- Comment #5 From Donnie Berkholz 2008-07-07 05:36:40 0000 -------
I updated it to the latest again, sorry for the delay. Maybe I'll deal with
migrating to the science overlay at some point when that's less effort.

Hi all,
Markus Dittrich < Changelog in
ftp://xraysoft.chem.uu.nl/pub/update_history_platon
As developer don't save old version, need cleanup ebuild and version bump again
=]
thx

------- Comment #8 From Markus Dittrich 2008-08-30 11:29:13 0000 -------
I've bumped platon to the most recent upstream version (20080725).

Thanks,
Markus
