So we should ignore not all packages are fixed with 1.8?

Yes, I think we should ignore the remaining ones, they've had plenty of time.

Sparc stable for dev-scheme/guile-1.8.2. I am not able to test lilypond.
(guile built with USE='nls deprecated regex' and all tests pass wqith
FEATURES=test.)

dev-scheme/guile-1.8.2  USE="nls threads -debug -debug-freelist -debug-malloc
-deprecated -discouraged -elisp -networking -regex"

Test suite fails on AMD64.
Disabling test on FEATURES package emerges OK.

dev-scheme/guile-1.8.2  USE="nls threads -debug -debug-freelist -debug-malloc
-deprecated -discouraged -elisp -networking -regex"

Also, test suite only fails if regex and deprecated (I've enabled both so I'm
not certain which caused test suite to succeed. But looking ate the test suite
error I bet it's the regex one.) USE flag isn't enabled.

media-sound/lilypond-2.10.29  USE="-debug -emacs -profile"

* Emerges on AMD64
* I tested some examples on the usr/share .
  There is one that caught my attention:

$lilypond /usr/share/lilypond/2.10.29/ly/init.ly
GNU LilyPond 2.10.29
Processing `/usr/share/lilypond/2.10.29/ly/init.ly'
Parsing...

During parsing memory started to fill up. I have 2Gb of RAM and 1.5Gb of it was
filled in less than a minute.
Issuing Ctrl+C cancels parsing and releases memory again.
