This is means you must add your package to 
./no-nptl/2.4/package.mask

betelgeuse@pena /usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/x86 $ grep bluez-utils -r .
./no-nptl/2.4/package.mask:>=net-wireless/bluez-utils-3
./ChangeLog:  package.mask bluez-gnome for needing bluez-utils-3*

Fair enough. Re-added ~x86. Thanks for the info.

~sparc is back.

Rekeyworded the whole thing on hppa.
