According to gentoo guidelines, 30 days have to pass for an ebuild to become stable.  The ebuild for 

sys-apps/parted-1.8.6.ebuild

has been in the trunk since

abr 13 2007

I've been using this app for some time with no problems at all. Thus, I'm requesting the stabilization..

Doesn't sound good for uclibc supported arches.

That is: arm, ppc, sparc, x86

Was stablebumped by wolf maybe by accident, anyway it works fine.
Also uclibc ld.so on sparc doesn't work atm so a fully-blown system is out of the question (and we don't ship embedded sparc stages with uclibc either).

OK.  I'm marking this as FIXED even though bug #171787 is still open, since the problem can just be worked from that bug.
