Stable for HPPA.

For anybody looking for an rdate server, it's built into inetd and xinetd.

Classical inetd config:
time   stream  tcp     nowait  root    internal
time   dgram   udp     wait    root    internal

For xinetd, see these files:
/etc/xinetd.d/time-dgram
/etc/xinetd.d/time-stream

net-misc/rdate-1.4-r3 is stable on AMD64

Emerges Fine, No Collisions, Worked fine with various rdate servers.
