With an old (0.4ish) gnome-mount, nothing in `emerge gnome` is bringing in a
newer one.

Probable correct action is DEPENDS >=gnome-mount-0.6 in gnome-volume-manager.

You will also need DEPENDS >=hal-0.5.9 somewhere. DEPENDS hal is insufficient.

Andrew,

gnome-mount-0.6 was unmasked along all the other gnome 2.18 packages. If you're
in ~arch, it should be used. I'll check the deps for g-v-m though.

Bug 183674 for stabilization of gnome-mount-0.6 to match visibility with
HAL-0.5.9.
Some RDEPEND adjusting might still be in order, which is why I'm marking the
stabilization bug as a depedency instead of dupping against it.

the matter

gnome-volume-manager now artificially raises dep on gnome-mount to 0.6, should
we close this bug or make it block the 2.22 tracker ?
