I've found the current dependencies for Qt 4.3.0 a bit messed up; the attached
patch would fix it.

Note that the protos are not needed at runtime: no include file for Qt includes
directly or indirectly an X11 header. libXi is not needed if tablet support is
not enabled.

The patch looks fine to me.  In getting rid of the RPATH stuff, were you
planning on using the a configure option ("-no-rpath"?), or are you wanting to
re-enable rpath?

As it stands, I can't take care of this myself anymore, as I don't have a
Gentoo Linux box working at the moment. Can you please take care of it while
i'm away?
