xorg-server-1.3.0.0 has a !x11-drivers/ati-drivers dependency because older ati-drivers do not support it. The recently released ati-drivers-8.37.6 seems to work ok with the 1.3 server though. Could the block be removed (and probably the VIDEO_CARDS=fglrx support from older xorg-server ebuilds be restored) please? (everything < 8.37.6 still fails, so a !<x11-drivers/ati-drivers-8.37.6 dependency would still be needed.)
This is a half-dupe of bug 180611 (I'm a moron and didn't update my tree). The 1.3.0.0 ebuild is still missing VIDEO_CARDS=fglrx support though. Could that be added back? It would also be nice to keep a !<x11-drivers/ati-drivers-8.37.6 block, but I guess I could add the reverse block to the drivers ebuilds instead if you prefer.
+ 04 Jun 2007; Donnie Berkholz <dberkholz@gentoo.org>; + xorg-server-1.3.0.0.ebuild: + (#180855) Fix ati-drivers support. My last commit never made it in because + of a conflict I didn't notice. No need for a blocker, I added a >= dep and we don't support people who don't set VIDEO_CARDS for their drivers.
