According to home page of wxmaxima, version 0.7.2 requires maxima 5.12.0.
(Required for proper operation, not for compiling and installing.)

However, maxima version 5.12.0 is still in the science overlay and not in
official portage. wxmaxima 0.7.2 is in the official portage.

Perhaps a notice should be added to wxmaxima 0.7.2 or its ebuild modified.
Or perhaps its ebuild modified once maxima 5.12.0 enters official portage.

wxmaxima-0.7.3a in cvs fixes the problem, and 0.7.2 removed since maxima-5.12.0
never made the main tree.
