I just tried to do this with seahorse (current cvs) and it doesn't seem to have
a problem. I changed the passphrase for a key to use æ, then signed another
and it accepted the passphrase. So, this probably an upstream issue that needs
to be reported to the gpa devs. Or you could just use seahorse ;)

Reassigning bugs due to lack of time.

Reassigning to wranglers, never used gpa.

klavs, Have you tried gpa-0.7.0?

I searched the list http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=gpa-dev&r=1&w=2 and cannot see any reference to Danish characters. I could not find a reference to a bugs reporting mechanism so please consider writing an email to the list. See also http://lists.gnupg.org/mailman/listinfo/gpa-dev.

I agree with Jacob - report this one upstream.

Jacob - you're not just a bit seahorse biased now being a seahorse dev are you ;-)? I will add the development release of seahorse soon. (bug #69912)

As soon as I get my Gentoo box back from IBM repair I'll try gpa-0.7.0 :) - in
the meantime I changed the password to something not containing danish
characters :)
