Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 UncleOwen 2007-05-15 17:22:25 UTC
Merging with LDFLAGS='' works, so it really seems to be related to --as-needed.
Comment 2 Marijn Schouten (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-15 17:39:37 UTC
Please confirm the issue also exists in 360-r1
Comment 3 UncleOwen 2007-05-15 19:10:02 UTC
Yes, same problem with 360-r1

patch for this issue

Well, really... It should have been upstreamed quite awhile ago.
Anyway, with this patch it seems to build fine for me.
Comment 5 Rafał Mużyło 2007-07-26 08:31:22 UTC
OK, some new input.
New ebuild - drscheme-370.6_p20070725 works with this patch.
What's more, drscheme from this ebuild does not work:
normalize-path: #<path:/usr/share/doc/drscheme-370.6_p20070725> (within the input path) is not a directory or does not exist

 === context ===
/usr/lib/plt/collects/mzlib/file.ss:85:16: normalize
get-help-url

and exits (mred seems to work, though)

Thanks, I've send it upstream.

I've fixed this issue. Unfortunately there is a segfault a little later. I've masked this version for now and mailed upstream. Find me in #gentoo-lisp if you want to help.
Comment 7 UncleOwen 2007-09-20 18:45:17 UTC
Just wanted to add that the patch is still needed and works for 371.
Comment 8 Tiziano Müller (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-03 10:19:30 UTC
Fixed.
