The driver from the following site worked quite well at least with the following machines: * Sony Vaio UX-280P * Samsung Q1 Unfortunately I do not have the machines anymore and I didn't save the ebuild anywhere else.. :( http://stz-softwaretechnik.com/~ke/touchscreen/evtouch.html

Not us. x11-drivers is binary only.
I added xf86-input-evtouch-0.8.7 to Portage.
