------- Comment #5 From Preston Crow 2007-05-08 14:10:10 0000 -------
Should the patch only be applied by the ebuild if the kernel is 2.6.21? Unless
I'm reading it wrong, the ebuild diff is unconditional. I browsed the
ivtv-devel mailing list, and I saw nothing either way on this.

Anyway, I don't see why this shouldn't go out as a -r2 ebuild with the patch
application made conditional on 2.6.21. That would be completely harmless for
most people, and would solve the problem for those wanting 2.6.21.

------- Comment #6 From Preston Crow 2007-05-11 13:38:15 0000 -------
The ebuild patch as-is doesn't work with older kernels. With 2.6.19.7, the
modified ebuild fails. The patch has to be applied conditionally on the kernel
version.

------- Comment #7 From Tony Murray 2007-05-14 19:16:20 0000 -------
I would have to agree with this being conditionally applied for kernel 2.6.21
only.

This patch works for me and I was just about to post my -r2, please apply to
try with aforementioned changes.

I'd also like to say this works for me. I'm using 2.6.21-gentoo and ~amd64.

------- Comment #9 From dark_mail@gmx.net 2007-05-17 22:52:17 0000 -------
There is a new version available: 0.10.2
It includes support for the 2.6.21 kernel.

(Wasn't sure if I should open a new bug as the matter is already discussed
here)

------- Comment #10 From Gregg Casillo 2007-05-22 20:31:42 0000 -------
Works for me.
