Description:   Opened: 2007-05-02 06:20 0000
Seems to be caused by avahi, but was fine before. Also, if I remove avahi,
programs like ksysguard cease to function.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
# emerge -pv kdelibs

------- Comment #1 From Marius Mauch 2007-05-02 08:25:36 0000 -------
Anything avahi related in package.use?

------- Comment #2 From Carsten Lohrke 2007-05-02 10:14:04 0000 -------
Can reproduce it here, Marius. Both with stable and testing Portage. It's
really only the kdelibs ebuild, Portage is choking on.

------- Comment #3 From Alejandro Wainzinger 2007-05-02 17:01:43 0000 -------
Only things in package.use just have avahi enabled, or are setting USE flags
for avahi, not disabled, i.e.

net-dns/avahi gdbm mono
media-sound/rhythmbox avahi

------- Comment #4 From Zac Medico 2007-05-02 19:23:22 0000 -------
The problem is that the build planner doesn't recognize that the blocker is
invalidated when the avahi flag changes state. Workaround:

emerge --oneshot --nodeps kdelibs && emerge --oneshot --noreplace kdelibs

------- Comment #5 From Zac Medico 2007-05-03 09:28:48 0000 -------
Created an attachment (id=118026) [edit]
handle this case where the blocker can be avoided

This is fixed in svn r6472:6474.

------- Comment #6 From Zac Medico 2007-05-05 04:39:48 0000 -------
This has been released in 2.1.2.6.
