Hello, there is another bug in getdelta (or maybe deltup): I found this on freetype. When deltupping freetype, getdelta incorrectly determined that bzip2-1.0.3 is needed. But it wrong! And getdelta says that checksum is wrong and download whole file. But if you `deltup -p freetype-2.3.3.tar.bz2-freetype.2.3.4.tar.bz2.dtu`, then `bunzip2 freetype-2.3.4.tar.bz2`, then `bzip2_1.0.2 freetype-2.3.4.tar`, and checksum will be right!
Sorry, I forgot to attach a log. It's a start of infinite process of fetch...

And sorry, I'm not C/C++ programmer, and unfortunately I can't figure the error by myself...
I have the same problem on ~amd64. Any idea what is wrong with it? It just started happening.

I also found this problem with seamonkey, firefox and thunderbird tarbolls.
Found same problem when fetching net-print/cups-1.2.10
This bug take a place with many .bz2 archieves, because (I mean) deltup can't determine bzip2 version correctly before compression.
I've been getting the same issue on and off. I'm a dialup gentooer and deltup is great. Downloading Firefox, Open Office, and Thunderbird last week wasn't fun.
Thanks for reporting the problem. Good news: the bug is fixed in deltup-0.4.4 More good news: Problem is client-side only - we can continue to use already existing dtu-files.
Thank you for fixing it
