We have no stable version for amd64. Let's pick this one as it has proven to be
stable for me during past months...

Same here, amd64@ should see this (though they should aim for asterisk-1.2.21.1
because of security bug #171884).

im all for this, ive been using asterisk-1.2* on gentoo now for over 12 months
now...

as long as someone wants to check stable deps are fine, as i dont run a stable
amd64 system :)
