INHERITED="$INHERITED $ECLASS"

These are not needed any more as Portage takes care of building them automatically.

Thanks, I already have this fixed on my hard disk, was going to go through and check for any other deprecated stuff in the templates sometime in the next few weeks, then push out a new gentoo-syntax version.

Fixed in SVN, r32. Look for a release coming later tonight.

FIXED in the 20070506 release, which should hit you sometime soonish. Thanks for the report!
