Please add ipmitool 1.8.9 to portage. It fixes quite a few bugs that are
present in 1.8.8.

I'm also very interested in this, as ipmievd is not functional on a Dell
PowerEdge machine in 1.8.8, and is in 1.8.9.

Renaming existing ipmitool-1.8.8 ebuild is enough, compiles fine.
Worked fine for me (x86).

It would be great, if this package would be commited to the tree!

Please commit this into portage, since the last version doesn't compile with
the latest stable kernel headers.
