Description:   Opened: 2007-04-15 09:37 0000 
The gconf schema file for app-cdr/brasero isn't properly installed. This is
because the brasero ebuild displays an elog message, thereby overriding the
default pkg_postinst(). In these cases gnome2_pkg_postinst needs to be called
manually for gconf schema file installation and so on. The ebuild doesn't do
this.

I confirm the bug, this is a patch for brasero ebuild that fixes the issue.
