Usata, we might want to look into this one, possibly get liquidx involved (he
has a fair idea about utf-8 compared to me).

I have been working on this ebuild for two weeks now and actually
I created an ebuild for it but the problem is I cannot get the
expected result when I use it :( I suppose the ebuild is okay but
it needs fonts to display/print correctly. So I'm creating
cjk-latex-4.5.2.ebuild (it contains fonts for unicode-latex) but
still I need some tweak to get things done.

I've just committed dev-tex/cjk-latex and dev-tex/latex-unicode.
cjk-latex contains various CJK fonts for latex-unicode. If there
are other fonts that you might need for latex-unicode, please
open a new bug and we'll include them as well. (I tested latex-unicode
with CJK fonts only)
