ebuild media-sound/murmur was ok.
started murmur, no process found,
cat /var/log/murmur.log:
 /sbin/start-stop-daemon: user `murmur' not found
  (Success)

Happened on a fresh install of murmur-0.9.4

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =media-sound/murmur-0.9.4
2. /etc/init.d/murmur start
3. cat /var/log/murmur.log

..have to add:
HOMEDIR /var/lib/murmur is missing, too.
